Who we are
Graham Jones, Director
After successful stints in monthly, weekly and daily motoring journalism, Graham moved into the automotive PR arena in 1990, initially with Gordon Bruce Associates. He was subsequently involved with the setting up of PRISM, an in-house public relations and sports marketing agency based at Ford headquarters in Warley, where he was responsible at one stage for PR and media communications related to all European-based Ford motorsport programmes. He then took on the challenge of launching the London-based Global Sponsorships Information Centre, the purpose of which was to coordinate PR and marketing activities related to all of British American Tobacco's European motorsport sponsorship programmes. These included the Suzuki Grand Prix Team in the World Motorcycle Championship, plus the Tyrrell and British American Racing Formula One teams. Finally, in 2003, Graham and long-time journalist and PR colleague, Andrew Kirk, decided to pool their extensive knowledge and experience, and formed KJ Partnership Limited.
Andrew Kirk, Director
Andrew started out in motoring journalism, working for monthly and weekly titles before crossing over into motoring PR. After a stint of agency life, working on accounts for BP, BFGoodrich, International Automotive Design and many others, he was asked to head-up the PR for Inchcape-owned Motor Vehicle Imports, where he remained until deciding to set up his own company, in 1997. Regular work with Chrysler Jeep and Mitsubishi Motors followed, and included the management of Chrysler Jeep's first media web site, overseeing Mitsubishi's UK dealer PR programme and writing the launch packs for the introduction of the Ralliart range of vehicles, in the late '90s. Since the formation of the agency in 2003, KJ Partnership Limited has been responsible for considerable behind-the-scenes PR work for vehicle manufacturers/importers and is proud to continue to work with, and retain its ties with, some of the truly great names and companies within the automotive sector.
